Thomas R. Rophchock Award
Recognizing the Wellington Firefighter of the Year
This award is presented to the firefighter who best exemplified the qualities of our mentor and friend Captain Thomas R. Ropchock. The award has been chosen by the members of the Wellington Firefighter's Association, in recognition of leadership during training and on the fire ground; sacrifices of time away from family, devotion and commitment to the Fire District; and for setting a positive example for others to follow.
